Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Elcap iOS application ("App") or accessing our website elcap.money ("Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
Description of Service
Elcap is a mortgage tracking application that helps users visualize their home ownership percentage and manage mortgage-related calculations. The App is designed for personal, non-commercial use.
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App for lawful purposes only
- Provide accurate information when using the App's calculations
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
- Not use the App for commercial purposes without explicit permission
- Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
Financial Information Disclaimer
Important: Elcap is a tool for tracking and visualization purposes only. It is not intended as financial advice.
- All calculations are estimates and may not reflect actual mortgage terms
- Consult with qualified financial professionals for mortgage advice
- Verify all calculations with your lender or financial advisor
- We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on App calculations
Intellectual Property
The Elcap App and Website, including all content, features, and functionality, are owned by Elcap and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elcap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
App Store Terms
When you download Elcap through the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Terms of Service and App Store Review Guidelines.
Privacy
In the United States, crash and error reporting and product usage analytics are enabled by default. In locations where prior permission is required, the App asks before enabling either category. You can turn crash reporting or usage analytics off independently in Settings → Privacy & Data. Disabling usage analytics also requests deletion of analytics events associated with the analytics installation identifier.

Updates and Modifications
We may update the App from time to time and may modify these Terms. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may terminate or suspend access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for any reason.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
